A survival adventure built around the Shroud
Enshrouded is a survival action RPG from Keen Games. You play as a Flameborn in a fantasy world damaged by a supernatural fog called the Shroud. The fog changes how areas can be explored and makes preparation important: a trip into a dangerous zone is easier when you know what you are looking for and have a route back. The game combines combat and exploration with crafting, resource gathering, and building, so progress can come from improving a character as well as improving a home base.
The central loop is flexible. You can scout for materials, clear a route, look for points of interest, or return to your base to craft and organize. These activities support one another. Resources gathered in the world can unlock equipment and construction options, while a well-planned base gives you a useful place to recover and prepare. Enshrouded supports cooperative play, and its official materials describe sessions for groups of up to 16 players.
